Before your Lesson… before we meet.. we talk by phone about your photography goals and experience.

• I review your specific camera model owners manual.
• This saves you time and custom tailors the lesson just for you, personally.

During your Lesson… I help you set up your camera, not just “how to”…  but also “why” and “when” to use specific settings best for you.

• “How to” is easy to learn. I watch you do your settings… patiently… quizzing you on “why” and “when” to use those settings for your photography goals.
• After you use more complex settings… I have you return your camera to simpler “safe place” settings.
• Based on your progress during the lesson, specific “homework” is provided.

After your Lesson… Practice is encouraged the same day / same week as the lesson.

• You have 10 days of Kaizen Constant Improvement review and follow up. Included.

Bring both! Your smartphone is great, more than good enough for some of your photography and video. Your “real” camera has more controls, and is more fun, but it makes sense to learn your smartphone settings too. The focus of this lesson is on Travel / Street Photography… ideal for those those who travel with family and friends that have an interest in photography and want to use both their smartphones and camera(s).
